Wren and Humminbird nest
This birdhouse that we have in one of the bushes in the front of the house there is a little wren nesting, I am surprised be cause everytime the front door closes it must disturb her:
This is the treasure of my nest collection. A few years ago a Hummingbird made a nest on a small branch that hung over one of our driveways: |

yeah that's an odd looking nest. I didn't know they're for hummingbirds. I might've seen one or two before and assumed it was some odd tree growth

That's what I thought when Hubby first showed it to me, then I saw the Hummingbird fly in many times after that also you could see her many times just sitting on the nest. Apparently they bind it to the branch with spider web silk. Quite amazing.

WOW....that's really interesting. I wonder how they get the spider web silk to the nest?
