Is VanDog still active?

Does anyone know whether the Vancouver Dog Owners' Association is still active? Their website is still up, and it has been updated recently (at least, the bit that gives the date the site was last updated has been updated) but they're not responding to emails or letters. This seems like a time when Vancouver dog owners really could use an organization of some kind, so if VanDog isn't active I'm considering starting something.

The homepage for that site was recently updated but all other pages on the site haven't been since 2005.

I remember reading a story in the Vancouver Courier downtown issue several weeks ago reguarding dog parks/or dogs in parks and they were mentioned but I can't remember anything about the story . The Courier's website search only has archives for the last 90 days, maybe an email to them re the dog park story

Thanks. I gave that a try, so we'll see what happens. I wish whoever's maintaining the page would just reply so I can get on with it!
