Puggles

Hi!

I'm interested in getting a 5 month old Puggle. She is trained and has had her shots.

I've never owned a puggle and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Puggles and can give me any advise. Are they typically "yappy" dogs? From what I have researched they are not.

Can anyone offer any insight or tips?

Thanks SO much!

I hope to add her to my family soon <3

Puggles are just fancy-named mutts, in all honesty. Being such, there is no real way to tell what the personality or traits will be like.

You might end up with the quietness of a Pug.
Or the more vocal side of the Beagle.

There is NO way to know.

Now, from my own experience - I have a 1-year old Pug / Beagle mix - our Pugsley is not especially yappy, but he does bark. He's got the scent drive of a Beagle, and the stubbornness of a Pug.

Thanks!

I went and picked her up. She's adorable!! SO well manered to. I think she picked more of the physical traits of a beagle and the personality of a pug!

She's adorable !

She's definitely got more beagle features than my little guy has, and a darker colour too.

omg puggles are so CUTE! Kashi when I saw yours, I was thinking he is similar in many ways to my pug/chihuahua mix Romeo. When I look at Romeo in certain ways he almost looks like a little boxer, especially when he walks, he's got that "kibbles 'n bits" thing going on

Thanks so much ancientgirl ~ there is so much to read here you'll have to forgive that it took so long to realize what you said about Romeo.
