Alley AKA Devil Kitten!

Remember the sweetness of my little kitten? Here's a refresher:

Here's the proof that her dad must be the

The other night I found a tomato on the floor with a big bite in it. Several minutes later I came across this on my counter

And when I pulled her away from the carnage, here's what was left - nothing but tomato sauce

Should bananas look like this? They do when a kitten has been gnawing at the bottoms of them!

The fridge monkey

We now cannot open the fridge without Alley not only hopping in, but attempting to eat anything in there, packaged or not!

Here she is going for her fave - cheese strings

What else is in here?

Jake's wondering what is going on!

This was all in one day! And then she nestles up and looks as sweet as can be

She was a smart one, being so cute and all.

That's why I don't keep any food on my counters.

I've got fridge jumpers too. I don't put anything on the bottom shelf of my fridge because whenever I open it one or more jumps in. I've even closed the door on them for a few seconds just to see if it makes them think twice about going in there, but nooooooooo.

Too funny but I'm surprised about the bananas. They must be bitter.

I'm so glad my dogs are too big to fit in the fridge, or I'm sure they'd join Alley! The Fridge Monkey!

You'll have to be extra careful not to shut her in there accidentally! You'll need a sign on the fridge that says "Check behind the eggs for cat before closing door"

I was thinking the same thing, is their an evil dog in your house

Alley looks much too innocent to be on your counter eating the food.

I've tried that too - the quick close.. It does nothing..

That's what I was thinking .. what kind of cat eats tomatoes and bananas? She actually tried to drag the entire bunch on to the floor for her eating pleasure. That's why I kept the tomatoes in their plastic bag - as a deterrant..

She'll take anything that's bigger than her and try to drag it off somewhere to eat it.. The other day she grabbed a wrapped burrito my BF bought, off the coffee table to behind the couch, proceeded to unwrap it, and try to eat it!

She'd just eat everything that was in there so we'd find her immediately - egg carton and all, I'm sure!

At least Alley is trying to be healthy - except for the burrito.

I'm just waiting for her to get bigger so I will be able to push her out the way - she's so little and quick right now!

Actually, she's getting spayed today, so maybe when I pick her up tomorrow she'll have mellowed out a bit..

Maybe that's wishful thinking..

OMG, the grab and run! Yep, I've got to keep both hands and eyes on my food when I sit to eat too. It's funny, it's the littlest ones isn't it? Kiska, will try to grab anything she can from my plate, then growl at whoever tries to take it back!

She just got back from her spay today - and the vet tech's politely called her a 'pistol'. I was hoping that the spay would mellow her out, but apparently just an hour after her abdominal surgery she was running around like nothing happened!

I brought her home, and she started licking her scar, so guess what went on her head? The dreaded cone! I'll try to get a pic - my BF and I felt so bad for her at first- she kept running into things with the cone - it was funny but sad at the same time (do they have a smiley for that?)

All of mine have been running around after their operations. I've always left them overnight at the vet, but the next day I'd get the speech, "keep them calm and don't let them run around too much."

Riiiiiiight.

Yeah - how do you stop a ridiculously spazzy kitty from running and jumping everywhere? Actually, the cone mellows her out.. I only have it on her when I leave for work, but I spent some time with her wearing it and she just curled up on my lap.. Maybe she'll suddenly become a gentle lap cat!

Yeah, right!

Meh - I'd be laughing too - if it didn't happen to me

I just wish she didn't bite into EVERY tomato I had ..

Oh, and since she's been back from the vet, she STILL tries to jump into the fridge - she got in there with the cone on, and my BF said that she kind of wedged herself in .. he had to struggle to get her out, and wouldn't you know it, the whole time she was still trying to eat those cheese strings!

My grey tabby, Gabby, is a lot like your little devil cat. Must be a grey tabby thing. Gabby will jump into the dryer when you're pulling out cloths if your not paying attention. I always check the dryer before I close the door.

Yeah, right!
Aw, come on. You don't want her to turn into a gentle little lap kitty.

When Vlad was neutered, I had to put a cone on him. I had it on for about 10 seconds and I had to take it off. He went nuts! I thought he was going to break his neck or something.

It's something in their stripes, perhaps!
You definitely don't want to run the dryer with a kittie in the mix! Aw, you gotta love 'em

It's true - when she was just mellowing out one me last night I thought it was nice, but I did take a moment where I actually worried if she wouldn't be a freakshow any more - racing around driving me nuts. Then I wondered what the I was thinking!

I'd like the best of both worlds - she can be nut, as long as she doesn't knock over/jump in/eat/race away with any of my stuff.

Alley freaked out about the cone at first too - that's I guess why when I got home from work last night it wasn't on her - BF felt too bad.. But I got it back on her and she was perfectly fine after about 5 minutes. I just don't want to risk infection - she goes to lick it the moment I take it off.

DEFINITELY never a dull moment!
Your cats chew on bananas too?!? This was the first I've ever heard of it - I originally thought that they were just rotting strangely, until, of course, I saw the little trying to run away with the whole bunch!

I think I'll miss SOME of her kitteness .. but some of it can go any day now..
