IS IT BAD FOR DOGS TO EAT BIRD SEED? My 7 month old chihuahua is sick and the only thing i can think of is that he ate bird seed yesterday.

Join the club, dogs go for it all the time.

Well it depends on the type of seed, shelled/unshelled and how much of it as well as if it's fresh or from laying on the ground.

Every dog I have had including this one, Sadie gets into it. I actually posted a picture a week ago of her little birdy behaviour.

They usually just poop it out the next day.

What type of seed was it and where did the dog get it from?
Cats only have nine lives because they stole them from dogs!Teehee
