Whole chicken..skin on?
I think I'm ready to try feeding Charlie a whole chicken (actually a cornish hen as he's only 18 pounds). Is there any thing I need to do such as removing skin or wing tips or anything?
Thanks All, BS62 |

maybe the wing tips, but i leave it as is when feeding to my guys.
Depends on your comfort level again and wether or not you want to feed the skin. For whole chickens I leave everything, for legs and backs I remove the skin

leave it on, its part of what helps move things through their system properly. unless of course he gets the runs from it and then you want to start reducing it by a little.
watch the poo. the poo says all.-ash
