Welcome! I dont know a thing about birds but could it be getting a chill or some kind of draft?

If a bird is fluffing its feathers, it's likely not feeling well. I'd suggest a visit to a vet if you can find one that knows something about birds. Birds are generally very stoic--they often don't show any symptoms (like ruffled feathers) of discomfort until they're seriously ill. So the sooner you can get your bird some veterinary care the better.

What sort of birds are they?

I just checked your profile and see you mention budgies. If the sick bird is a budgie, it may have a respiratory infection--very often stressed budgies will develop them. Unfortunately, they are very contagious, so if you haven't separated your birds, yet, you should do so as soon as you can. Keep the sick bird quiet and warm (you can cover its cage partially to keep it draft free and a little dark) until you can talk to a vet.

Good luck with your bird, tastycosmo. They're sweet little things and quite the characters when they're healthy! that you can find a knowledgeable vet near you!
