Sleeping kitties

We took a nap this afternoon, around Noon. I've been doing that lately, taking naps on the weekends, and I love that one by one they come up and get comfy and nap with me.

But this evening, they are napping in some of their favorite locations.

Vlad has chosen the Christmas box I've got behind the couch. I'm thinking of buying a bench so that they can continue sleeping back there once I take the box upstairs.

Oksana is on one of her favorite spot near the window.

And Maks and Kiska is on another favorite spot. When I found them they were sleeping just like this, and they often sleep like this. They do sleep on their own, but much of the time, one will seek the other out and they wind up sleeping together. I wonder if this is something they will continue to do into adulthood. It's cute.

So cute !! My kitties would never sleep together like yours they barely tolerate each others' existence!

PS-- Where did you get your cat "apartment" - looks like you're in the US but thought maybe you got it online? Looks like a hit with your little ones

Well, Maks and Kiska are brother and sister. And Vlad and Oksana aren't brother and sister, but they've been together since they were tiny things and now and then I catch them cuddling up together too.

I got the kitty apartment at Target. You might be able to find it at Target online. Where are you located?

I have to say, it wasn't expensive and easy to build and they absolutely LOVE it.

I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada. We don't have Target where I live (although I have heard rumours that we will get one soon). But I did find it online- thanks! They call it a "multi-cat jungle gym"... And you're right it's not too pricey

I'm glad you found it. Mine absolutely love using that to sleep and just lounge. They have some really neat things for cats at Target. I recently got a round one, similar to the other one and that one is fun too. They like sleeping in it. They also have cute little hammock beds, which I will probably get for them at some point LOL.

Cool! I hope your little ones like them. Mine is getting a bit worn out. I may have to buy another one soon, but its very sturdy so I'm sure it will last a good long while. I went the other day and they had some really lovely carriers too!

I love it too,but could it handle an 18lb cat???
I really have no space for anymore kitty-stuff,but Target has some really neat things and inexpensive.
Next year when we go south,Target will be on my to-do list for sure

Well, Vlad is up to 12 pounds and its still holding him, so I'm thinking it might be sturdy enough for a bigger kitty.

I try to feed them the best food I can afford. I've been giving them Nutro Max and am now feeding them Wellness dry. I know that is part of their why their coats are so shiny, they really make it hard for me to brush them, they hate being brushed. LOL, I think part of their shine must be in the genes too, because they allow me to help them very little.

Yes, I've noticed the same. The black will reflect more light than another coat. And out of all of my cats, Oksana has the softest coat. When I bathe them the once a month, I use the same pet shampoo, and she has always had the most amazing feeling coat.

Oh, she can always sleep in the round little gym thing. I've also got something I'm ordering from Amazon, which I got a gift card for. It's a scratching post with a platform and a big square box where they can crawl in.

Besides, lately I've found Maks sleeping on my bed, and Oksana sleeping in the closet. So apparently anyplace that's comfortable is up for grabs LOL.
