Is this a good food for kittens?
My husband bought a bunch of tins of Purina pro plan wet food for kittens (Chicken & liver). Is this a good food for kittens. The first ingredients seems to be proteins?

Yay, kittens!
![]() I looked up the ingredients (http://www.proplan.com/products/Chic...WetKitten.html), and I'd say this is an "acceptable" food, by my standards. To me a "good" food is free from grains and by-products (like Wellness, for example). But I do believe that most canned food is better for your cats than any dry food so I don't think this a bad choice.

always remember that 99.99% of ALL wet foods are considerably better than ANY dry foods for cats!!!
it looks good to me. they actually even list the initial meats whole which is good too. im not crazy about the 'added color' though. the rest of it is all gibberish. -ash

Better than some other kitten foods out there. I prefer Wellness and Felidae Cat and Kitten formulas, no added flavours, or by products in it. Not sure if I like the added flavours to the Purina.
