Hi, I'm Max's mom.

Hi forum.

Great boards. Thanks.

I am the mom of Pugimus Maximus, Puggy the great, or just plain old Max.

He is wonderful. The best person on the planet. If I could find a man with similar attributes, I would be the the luckliest girl alive. He hardly ever disagrees with me. Doesn't spend any money. Doesn't borrow my car without asking and leave it with no gas. He is completely and totally forgiving of any dumb mistake I make. He makes comparatively few messes. He's always up for whatever activity I want to do (as long as he is included.). He doesn't hog the computer. And he absolutely adores me more than words can say.

Onto my other fur babies, we have two male cats, Speedy and Garfield. Both orange tabbies. They are the oddest feline couple, I have ever encountered. We got them at a year old from a family with two small children(hence the names), who couldn't take them when they moved and were going to relinquish them to the ASPCA. At any rate, their oddities include, stalking the dog. Speedy will try to bar Max access to inside. Then they will pretend to be afraid of him when he chases them. Yet they will sleep inches apart on our bed from him. When it is time for bed, the three of them simultaneously race to the bedroom, jump up on the bed and roll on their backs for a belly rub. (I only have two hands). In addition, Speedy wants to be outside evey other 5 minutes, and Garfield would shoot himself in the foot rather than go out.

Other members of my household, include my fiance, my daughter ( a hs senior) and every day or two my son and his fiance stop by for a mom-cooked meal (mom-cooked meals are always the best....my mom is a great cook!) and internet access.

Well, I will end this with a little tweak on an old song from a group called Bread:

"Our house is a very, very fine house, with two cats and a dog. Life used to be so hard, Now everything is easy cuz of you!"

Welcome to the board, you have a lovely family there.

I'll light the fire, you put the flowers in the vase that you bought today.
Staring at the fire for hours and hours while I listen to you
Play your love songs all night long for me, only for me.

Come to me now and rest your head for just five minutes, everything is good.
Such a cozy room, the windows are illuminated by the
Sunshine through them, fiery gems for you, only for you.

Our house is a very, very fine house with two cats in the yard, life used to be so hard,
Now everything is easy cause of you and our la, la, la:

All thumbs

I tried to post a pic of Max, but I have to wait for one of my kids to come home to help me....ha ha. Technologically challenged.

Oops...sorry about the miscredit. I have always thought that was a Bread song. No matter. Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young are great too.

I think it's a problem with the filename in my computer. Or else, my path is wrong. (Ha. Ha. What's new about that!!!!) No worries. They'll straighten it out.

OMG. Want4Rain. I almost peed my pants at that one!

PS. If I had to go through all the fish I've killed...well, let's just say I am currently only allowed to LOOK at the fish tank!

What's DSH and DMH?
