My male cat (Persian) is 1 years old. WHen we first bought him he came home with fleas. We have another cat at home, therefore it was transmitted. the vet prescribed evolution...he's been fine ever since.
Lately, He keeps throwing up repeatedly. He pukes about 6 times a day, each time; 3 times in one shot. His puke smells more like his poo.-very strong. No blood. We brought him to the vet and they ran some x-rays but said he seems fine. However they think he might have a heart condition as his heart beats fast and in between beats they heard something abnormal. I don't want to get ripped off, we paid 300$ fof x-rays and over night hospilization however they were unable to conclude what the issue is. Please help!!? |

Did they run full blood & urine & fecal tests?
Did they test for round worm, hookworm, tapeworm? Did they do an ultrasound to check for heart conditions - a murmur, valve not properly closed, congentive failure etc? Go to another vet for a second opinion & ask for above tests, start with blood, urine. fecal test cats especially young ones can become dehydrated very fast - the cat needs to be seen again & properly diagnosed asap
