Tommy the tubby!!!
For the last few weeks I've been thinking that Tommy looked a wee bit larger than he used to, and his waist seems to be getting a bit less distinct, so tonight we finally weighed him to see... and he's 10.8 pounds! I know that's wayyyyyyyyyyy smaller than most of your doggies, lollll. But that's almost a 10% increase in weight in the last month! I thought he'd stopped growing, pretty much, since he's just over 11 months old now... don't little doggies stop around then?
For anybody who knows him, you can understand why we're so excited. He was just over 2 pounds at 8 weeks when we got him, and dropped from about 5 back down to 2.5-3 for a long time when he was very, very ill. Once we knew he would live, I still thought he'd be a little frail and perhaps sickly for most of his life. Now we have an almost 11 pound bundle of crazy zoomies running around the house  .What a change a few months make... thanks to all you guys who have been rooting for us all along  .

Oh yes, Lukka and I are real big fans of Tommy's
 Love to hear that he is doing so well. Love to hear that he finally has a yard to call his own. Love to hear that he has put on a few pounds to make up for all those months that he was so ill. Would love to hear that Tommy had some pictures taken and is about to post them

That's great news, Tommysmom!
 I'm so glad he's doing so well!  Hey....and didn't I hear a rumor somewhere that Tommy had had some pictures taken and they were gonna be posted soon?

OMG Tommy
When I think of all the problems this sweet little one has been through in his short life it just breaks me up inside. But to see how happy he looks now and to know how devoted his mom and dad are to his happiness and wellbeing, well it's just such a great feeling  Tommy you should be a poster puppy for all the little ones that are not well but some day will come into their own! Love the pictures and I LOVE TOMMY
