small bald spot under eye

My 10 month old, lab/retreiver/husky cross has a tiny bald spot just under his eye, we noticed it yesterday. It's probably 1/4" under his eye and about the size of a small clicker on the end of the pen. It also looks as though there's a tiny bit of hair missing directly under his eye. The area is not red or inflamed, the skin looks quite normal, we got a damp warm face cloth and cleaned around his eye, but it seems fine. Any ideas what this could be? Could he have scratched his eye and taken some fur with it.

He probly strached his eye or was rubbing his head and lost some hair. IT's not emergant. I'd just keep an eye on him. If there is more hair loss or his eye has discharge etc then take him to the vet.

I think he may have had a bite a bit ago, the scab formed, fell off and took the patch of fur with it, and we didn't notice because it was under the fur. I'll be watching him like a hawk to make sure everything starts to grow back.
