rabbit with Myxomatosis

my house rabbit Phillippe f-lop was diagnosed with myxomatosis on the 9th of this month, i first noticed his nose looked sore on the 7th and then one side of his face swelled. he is vaccinated against myxi and this is what as saved his life so far, we are now into day 12 of the illness and he doing really well, still feeding for himself and still running around after the cats, but the poor thing looks like he`s got chicken pox. the vet said last night she no longer needs to see him not unless he takes a turn for the worse, and just to give his meds once a day now for the next 10 days, so fingers cross my baby boy will pull through this.
