My dog has a red swollen sore on belly

I noticed my shih tzu has a red swollen sore on his tummy. The vet is booked until Wednesday and the nearest emergency is 4 hours away.
Does anyone know what this is? Maybe a bee sting or insect bite. It seems a little painful but he's not licking it.
What can I do for him until I can get him in to the vet

If he's not licking it, I think I'd leave it alone. Anything you put on it will just draw his attention to it, and if he starts licking it, it will get more irritated. Unless it gets markedly worse tomorrow, it can probably wait till Wednesday.

If it worsens tomorrow, will your regular vet be able to squeeze you in as an emergency?
