Lake Fish

my sister and her husband love fishing. they live on a the citys old reservoir turned lake/park/fishing spot. would the fish in there be good for our cats and dogs on a BARF diet? not bottom feeders?

What type of fish? I would say yes, but with any wild animal, i would freeze for a few days before feeding just to be safe.

um, surface to mid depth. we wouldnt want to feed him cat fish or anythign that hung around the bottom. quite frankly those are too big for any of our pets to eat whole!

bass are about it i think. there are some other smaller surface fish. they also have grass carp and catfish but i would imagine being bottom feeders those would be the first to carry a disease.
