Melamine found in feed at fish farms

I heard about it on the news on my way home from work. I knew it was going to be a problem in fish food, had to be considering a lot of them contain gluten. No news reports seem to be saying anything about how it's affecting the fish that are eating it though, they're just concentrating on how it'll affect people should they eat the fish
I have no intention of eating my koi, but I want to know if this stuff is going to hurt them, and if you thought getting info from dog and cat food companies on if there stuff contained the melamine was a problem, fish food companies are being even more closed mouthed about it. Great, just when we're moving into prime feeding season for the fish.

I hate how they don't mention how it affects the fish themselves. It's alllll about us, eh?
