help my Sick Puppy

We recently had two litters of Shih-Tzu, two days apart. The puppies are now 4-weeks old. We have started the de-worming and expect to start giving vaccinations in two weeks.

Yesterday we noticed that one of the puppies looked very uncomfortable and it started crying. Upon inspection the poor little guy looked all dried out with crust around his nose and eyes. I spent a lot of time last night giving the puppy a little bit of water every few minutes and eventually was able to give him some puppy-formula.

I thought that the symptoms were probably the result of dehydration and not getting enough to eat, but today the puppy's eyes and nose were all crusty again. Last night the pup appeared to be having trouble breathing because it would just stand there and squeeze it's diaphragm. Today it's doing much better but still appears to have slightly labored breathing.

I think that the puppy needs antibiotics. Any suggestions?

Bring it to the vet asap.

However, I had the same type of issues with a 6-week old kitten from the SPCA and formula + babyfood bottle and spoon fed got him back on his paws in 4-5 days. Still, he was breating ok.
