I am very pleased to have found this forum. I have a 4mth old black miniature poodle called Cricket. She is especially lively and cuddly. I hope to contribute where possible & look forward to learning about other pets & situations. I live in Auckalnd, New Zealand.

Welcome to the forum, LynetteM! I'll second that request for pics (unless someone beats me to it! )!

9Yep, I'm pretty sure we have another New Zealander around...isn't it Quin'smum? Or has hazel's memory left her high and dry again? )

poodle pics

hi

I shall certainly post some pics asap...have some waiting to be downloaded.
I am struggling with the toilet training yet ....have got her to go numbers of times outdoors, but she still will wee inside. At night she is good & goes on paper set out.
Any thoughts would be valued.

Do you crate her? Sometimes this helps them to learn to control their bladder..

Welcome to the board!

4 months is still fairly young... She won't be able to hold it for too long (I think the rule is an hour for every month?).

Welcome to pets.ca. I agree 4 months in still pretty young and often the smaller dogs talk longer to potty train. Be consistant and she'll get it .
