Speaking of Poop...
I've noticed that my dog's poops have been greenish the last two days. Is this something to worry about? (ie. sign of an infection?) He doesn't have diarrhea or anything, just green poop

Hi Winston,
LOL! I'm actually not new to the forum but thanks for the warm welcome Barkley hasn't gotten into anything green lately. We feed him raw and his diet hasn't changed at all, so I'm really stumped as to what is causing this. Now that the snow has melted, he has eaten a little grass in our backyard, but I doubt that could be the culprit. I'm a little concerned about possible Clostridium, so that's why I wanted to know if any other raw feeders out there have seen greenish poops from their dogs.

yep, we get rainbow poops here, nothing to worry about as long as they are small and firm, your dog is happy and healthy and you haven't changed his diet, it's nothing to worry about. we've seen bright green poop here ("irish poop"), yellow poop, beige poop, dark red poop, all shades of brown poop... he he! it's never boring

Thanks all. I feel better knowing that I'm not the only one seeing green poops. Any ideas what causes this?

Green Poop
We just bought a 2 month old Labradoodle yesterday. Her poop changed from brown to green overnight. Today the sellers vet says if everything else is OK that green poop is acceptable since the dog is going through separation anxiety, confusion, and nerves. Green can happen.

Dunno 'bout the "green" part being ok, but yes, stress and diet change can definitely result in diarrhea in any dog. Did this "vet ok" come from YOUR vet, i.e. one you've taken the pup to, or the vet of the person you bought the dog from? If it's the latter, I wouldn't be taking any chances whatsoever and I'd be bringing the pup in for a checkup and a stool sample asap. I would NOT be taking the word of the "breeder".
