both dogs have a clear discharge from eyes

hello, i have a one year old pit mix and a new, around 2 or 3 month old, collie/lab mix. my one year old has always had a little clear discharge, but i just thought they were eye boogers(ya know like what we get) but my new puppy has got an unusal amount of discharge. its still clear but i'm just wondering if this is normal? could she be having more of an allergic reaction, say to our home?

hope ya'll can help out

Can be a number of things

Discharge from nose and mouth and sometimes eyes can be from Kennel Cough

Are they having any other troubles?

Recently spray your home with anything? Get new bedding for the dogs? New carpet?

They should go to the vet.

Hi meganrae . How much is an unusual amount?
What do you think may be in your house that she would be reacting to? I'm pretty sure as long as its clear its nothing too serious. Have you been feeding her sweets lately?

thanks ya'll for replying. they aren't having any other discharge, just the goop in the eyes. i was thinking that the may be having just a little reaction with our house. we live in a old old cabin and wood stoves are the only source of heat. do ya think that the dried out air may be getting to them?

i will call my vet and make sure.

thanks
