Cat's frothing and ....

I have this cat, who's lately, been frothing at the mouth, and sometimes, it seems , there's leakage of pus along with saliva!

he doesnt eat much, as I beleive it hurts ( sometimes, meeoowws while eating ! ) when he does.
and he's been getting thinner lately, due to this.

all of this has led me to beleive he has either an ulcer in his mouth or some other condition ( could it be respiratory ? )

he is usually very quiet and appears listless.
he is not playful like the rest of the cats and spends hours sitting some place.

plz tell me what to do?

Like in sooo many other cases, the Vet is the only answer.
I have no idea what his symptoms means, but the cat is in obvious stress and pain,so please do what's right, take him to a Vet ASAP!!

Your cat has pus coming from his mouth, can't eat and is losing weight???

Why isn't he at the vet? You do realize he is suffering?
