mini dacshund with blister on scrotum
I have a mini dacshund who has what it looks like a blister on the bottom of his scrotum. I wasn't sure if it was from rubbing against things- snow, wood, etc--since he is low to the ground. I am not really sure what to do about it and how to prevent it.

Is he neutered?

Owwee...poor little guy. If it is a rub-abrasian (though you might want to check with a Vet) maybe you could consider one of those full-body snowsuits that cover the belly. Although his whizzer would still be uncovered the snowsuit being thicker might give him a bit of "lift", sort of a snowplow effect.

I would run it by your vet. I am vast experience with every problem known to mini Dachshunds - except this one. My guys all weighed about 10 lbs. - and of course were low to the ground - but never had such a condition. It must be uncomfortable. Please report back on how puppy is doing.
