Unhappy Puppy in pain

I have a 7 week old puppy that has been very healthy and very active last night be began yelping a little when he was picked up today when we got home same thing but tonight he wont even let us touch him without bitting us and yelping really loud. When he moves he yelps. He is walking just fine eating and drinking water. He has had Kennel cough and has been taking med's for that. I don't know what to do for him and I feel so sorry for him I know that he is hurting and I don't know what to do for him. I don't have the money right now to take him to a vet for a couple more days and there is no vet here that will let me pay them out any help please. I don't think that he has gone number 2 today and wonder if he has constipation. Would that cause him to yelp like that?

Has he had any shots yet? This could be for any number of reasons - cant answer questions like this - the puppy needs to be seen by a vet.

He had his first round of shots last week. I know that he needs to be seen and as soon as it gets time for the vet's to open I am going to start calling outside the area that I live in and see if I can get him seen. I have been up most of the night crying because he is in pain and there is nothing that I can do for him I love my baby very much. It is 6:40 am here and I will have to wait until at least 8 am to call and hope that someone is open then. My husband told me before going to work to find out what it cost and he will see if his boss can advance the money I sure hope so.

Im sure he will be ok, sometimes it works out better than you expect! My little kasha ate something when she was 8 weeks old and she didnt go to the loo for 2 days - she repeated this last week and was in the emrgency vets overnight! I know how it feels when you are so worried about something so little!

good luck and keep us posted!

Bears,I would just take this little puppy to the Vet ASAP,he is in pain....The Vets,at least here where I am,do not ask for money before treatment and if you tell the Vet after, you have no money,he'll have no choice but to accept payment later,or a post-dated check.
NO good Vet would ever refuse treatment of a puppy in pain,if he does he should be reported.
It could be something serious and it could also be a case of constipation,so please take this little guy right away!

I took my puppy Nipper to the vet just got home he said that he has some fluid in his lungs so he gave him some med's for that and he has a paracite the vet said that he has some bruising on his chest that he thinks may have been caused from a fall I told him that he likes to get on my bed when we are not home and he said that he must have jumped off or fell off but that he is going to be okay and to put some ice on it. He said that he is going to be sore for a couple of weeks maybe. I am so glad that he is going to be okay.

Bruised puppy

You didn't mention and I do not know you but the first question that comes to my mind is "do you have children?" The 2 footed errect walking type? More puppies are dropped and injured by children than most people will admit to.

If you do have children it would be wise to keep the puppy out of it's reach for awhile.

Give your pup plain yogurt if it's taking antibiotics!

If your pup likes to climb up on your bed put something there to make it easier so he doesn't fall and speak to the kids about being gentle with him.
