I'm 21, but sometimes I feel like I'm much older just because of the way people around my age act towards me, 'Your 21, can't drive, live at home, and aren't going to school?? You need to move out!' Umm.. maybe some people move out when they turn 18, but if you have a good relationship with your family and can stay there for free while you work and try to figure out your life, wheres the harm in that?? Yes, they make me feel like its a crime! Once in a while I'll run into somebody who says 'you're still young, theres time to figure it out. don't rush things.' and I'm so glad when people tell me that, so I know the way I feel isn't out of the norm.

I'm still surprised by how many people think at 21 I should be living on my own with a career. Things don't work out that easily for everyone, especially when I have no idea what I want to do!

The only definite thing in life is that I love my pets and can't live without them Now if I can convince my family that another dog would do us some good...

It is all in the mind

I'll be errrrrrrr 42 the end of this year. But I can still say I am the baby of the family since I have two older brothers.... And on that note it is time for my nap.

I'm still a spring chicken in my thirties -- but only for 2 more weeks

I used to laugh at all my friends when they'd turn 40 - I was always the youngest - I can't believe I only have 2 weeks left of being thirty-something!! Where did the time go?? But you know, I guess I have to be grateful for making it this far!

I am 26, and also dreading that im fast aproaching my thirtys.

I always tell my friends that I can picture myself becomming this crazy cat lady, still being single, and rocking in a rocking chair, and then I will have to develop a split personality so that I have someone to talk to other than the cats....lol :P

Shadow - around 8yrs
Lucky - not too sure, because I rescued her but ive had her close to 7yrs
Cujo - close to 5 yrs

Hi

I just turned 53, but some days I feel 102! That is usually after the grandkids have been here.

But I figure I'm still breathing so things are good!!

Humph...I can't believe I haven't seen this poll since my membership. Had I stumbled across it before now, I would have been in the younger age group that what was selected just now!

hhmmm If I had of answered when this was started, I would have been 4 years younger than I am today!

However, I did just turn 57 but that's ok, cus that means, I am just "that" much closer to retirement

BusterBoo!!!
Unfortunately unless I win a lottery my retirement date will be when I'm eighty or something. Gotta work to pay for kitty food. I will have a crappy pension seeing as for years I was self employed (day care) so it won't be enough to let me retire and live in luxury.
As of now I am 54 years, 6 months, 1 day young. And some days I feel every single minute of it!!! But the mind is still young and (hopefully) kept active so I'm good.

Hey Brenda - I just found out that min pins have Italian Greyhound in their breeding (way back?). Does that mean that if I have IGs and you have min pins we may be related?

I'm JUST 54 years young and soon to be 55. I also feel like 25 but OMG my body just can't keep up to the 25's anymore.

Linda
