Arrow Shelter dog wheezing

We just adopted a 10-month old male Papillon last week from the local shelter. He's adjusting really well and seems healthy and fit. However, two nights ago he woke us up with a wheezing kind of sound. He made a sound every time he breathed out and it was very rapid. This went on for about 10 minutes and then he was fine and went back to sleep. It also happened again this morning. He just saw the vet this past Saturday. Any suggestions?

My suggestion is to get him back to the vet while he is this way.

Call your vet and let him know.

It could be an allergy to something in the house.

And congradulations on your new boy.
