Thinning of Hair on Face: please help

My puppy is Sharpei/ Shepard mix. I've adopted her 4 months ago and lately I've noticed that her hair/fur is thinning at the bottom of one of her eye. Could that be due to bacterial infection? She's losing hair and it's spreading. Please educate me of this condition. I'm hoping to get your expertise! =) Thank you!!!

It sounds like demodectic mange which needs to be treated by a vet before it gets any worse. Good luck and keep us posted.
