Help!!!
can anyone out there tell me what OTC medication can be used for cats? I know tylenol is a no no... but what can they be given?
I have a cat that has a nasty sprain or a mild fracture, and need to ease the pain until I can get him to a vet on monday.... suggestions? |

Is there not an emergency Vet clinic in your area or in some of the larger centres there are Vets who do house calls. To keep the swelling down, wrap a bag of frozen peas around your kitties leg. After ten to twenty minutes use a hot water bottle.
Monday is a long, long time for an animal in agony to wait and if you are in Canada Monday is a stat holiday, your Vet's office won't be open anyway. Please look into finding an emergency clinic ~ pain can turn into shock and shock can kill. |

Did you take your cat to an emergency vet clinic? Do you have an update?
