I read everywhere about how bassett hounds are friendly and get along with other dogs, but our 3 year old male is very aggressive towards our 5 year old neutered male beagle, as well as towards our cat, and towards myself at times. Today, he attacked our beagle, unprovoked, causing a puncture wound to the beagles throat. I have been patient with this dog, but I am at my wits end, with this latest attack. I am going to have a baby in 3 months, and I don't want a dog like this around her. I am at a loss at what to do. Any suggestions?
