update on swollen lymph nodes

on 10 sept 06 you can read my post call "swollen lymph nodes" here is an update to cheyenne's story.
Cheyenne's problems were caused by his shots!!!
In fact they almost killed him.
They call it "reactive lymph nodes".
I do believe in shots to protect our animals but i will never get another shot for any of my animals unless i titer test them first.
Titer tests measure the amount in their systems.
Vets are now becoming aware of this. I still have to feed him by hand and water him by hand.
Every now and than he will actualy drink from a bowl but he will not eat from it.
His gait is very wobbly due to him going from 13lbs to 9.4lbs and not eating enough.
He has a vet check today, i will let you all know.
His lymph nodes have gone down.
Trudi and Chyenne

Vets over vaccinate dogs. Regular shots are no longer needed. My dog had one set of shots before we got him and that is it.

Puppies do not acquire immunitity until after they have been vaccinated, so still a necessity to vaccinate and immunitity does not last forever, a small percentage of dogs will have an allergic reaction but that does not mean we should avoid vaccinating all dogs. Distemper and lepto even kennel cough can kill dogs even if they survive sometime permanent damage is done which can cause permanent ongoing health problems, so if you do not want to be vaccinating regularily you should be titering so you know if your dog has immunitity

A good example is the aspirin it can be dangerous to a few individuals like my son who if he take even just one will end up in the hospital for a week with tubes in his stomach to remove acid while his stomach heals from the damage that one aspirin will cause, it does not make aspirin a bad thing and should avoided by all, only for him, my dad needs to take one a day 24/7 for his heart for him it is a life saver.
