Mini Dachshund

I have a 23 week old mini Dachshund. Although she has her chew toys, she wants to constantly chew on the carpet. Can anyone advise as to what to do. I have tried everything.

Boxers are the WORST chewers , so take it from me. Catch and redirect works-slowly but surely. Catch her in the act and correct her and give her a toy she CAN chew. Eventually she'll learn 'Hey if I chew this I wont get in trouble!' Make sure the toys are plenty available. Puppies are like babies, new teeth hurt and all they know is chewing helps. Now is also a good time to learn 'no bite'. They seem to learn this pretty quickly.

Good luck
