excessive drooling

I have a female german shorthaired pointer puppy, she's about 5 months old and is teething. Just recently she has started drooling an excessive amount. We called the vet. and he mentioned it could be something stuck to the roof of her mouth, but upon checking it doesn't appear to be that. I was wondering if anyone could confirm the suspicion (and the hope) that it might be a temporary problem related to teething.

Some pups teeth a lot just like kids when they're teething they drool. Give pup ice cubes to and a face cloth soaked in water and frozen to suck on!

It doesn't sound like an issue to me and your vet should have reassured you (far be it from me though to say the vet was wrong)

Hey post a pic of your GSP on here.....there's lots of pointer lovers in here
