Carina's Babies?

Carina's babies weigh darn near 100 pounds a piece, so I am not sure you can call them babies.

The first one is of Carina and her boy, Dutch.



This one is Dutch and her girl Daphne.



And finally, her Cooper in the snow.

The first time I looked, the top one didn't show up, now I can see them.
The second one is in the big seperate "dog yard" where we leave the dogs out if the weather's fine & we're going to be gone a while. It's very secure & the gates are padlocked. They have their little pool for summer, their little shelter shed (in the background) with a raised floor & a TON of straw & blankies, and a big tire hanging from a tree that they wrassle with. (I think Sandi has that one too.)
Of course they spend much of their time inside with their humans.

Dutch would be mortified if he knew strangers were seeing him playing lap dog. He likes for everyone to think he's a big scary intimidating Rottweiler.

Beautiful dogs...my neighbor across the street had two Rotties,1yr and 2yrs old.One night I heard crying,thought the neighbor was beating the dogs,I ran out in my housecoat only to find the younger Rottie trying to pull the older one who had died of a heart-attack.The younger one was crying and tried desperatly to move the dead dog..it was incredible to see,but so very sad....I was told it is not an uncommon occurence with Rotties.

I don't know Aggie,don't know much about Rottweilers...it was amazing though.The older female that died(only 2yrs old)kind of cared for the younger one since puppy-hood.
His name is Boss and he was very distraught for a long time,now he is back to his regular self a wonderful dog.
I still do not like the owner,since he tried to shoot a baby crow,but he loves his dog,so I guess he has some good qualities

Are Rotties runners? I imagine they aren't too fast if they do?

one of my kitties was named Boss... & the other Shadow.

turned out I should have flipped their names after the evaluation of Day One.



...sort of a good owner, lol glad the younger doggie survived the ordeal...

Aggie,Boss is now a big beautiful Rottie,scares the heck out of people,he's on a corner-lot as I am,behind a 5 foot wire fence in a big backyard....starts running from end to end when someone passes by.He's actually nothing but a big "suck"but strangers don't know that...

hahahaha, so he's releasing his excitement through all that running and barking like my crazy Chocolate!

every time he sees a cat on the shed, he DEMANDS it jumps down so he can get an up-close wift!

I still can't get all of the pictures to work, but I did get them all except one. Gorgeous dogs!

wAggie, we sweated hard to build the fence for the dog compound!
We're lucky enough to be on 35 acres (5 ours, the rest nature space owned by the local township.) So we have the room. And they were destroying the regular yard.
Chico, what a sad story... now your neighbor needs to rescue another Rottiegirl for Boss!

Rottweilers aren't tremendously fast except in short bursts. But if they're in shape, they have tremendous endurance since they were drover dogs. Dutch has some lung damage from heartworms (he was HW+ when we got him) so he tires easily. He's got heart though & will run & swim himself into exhaustion if we let him, so I'm careful not to let him overdo it!

Daphne & Cooper are real sweet with everyone & for all I know would let someone walk into the house & clean us out. Dutch however would take someone down in a heartbeat. He's a pretty hard dog.

poor baby... makes me so happy knowing an animal is being WELL taken care of
