The Westie walk - Mississauga Sept.17/06

The Westie Walk will be run on Sunday Sept 17th at the Erindale Park in Mississauga, Ontario from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm. I am the organizer of the walk. My username is Corrie. http://www.pets.ca/forum/member.php?u=7693

The walk is run by Westie Rescue of Canada (of which I am a part) and they organize walks all over Canada...anywhere we have a volunteer who is willing to do it.

100% of the proceeds go the Westie Rescue of Canada and this will be our 5th annual walk in Toronto. We also have walks in Vancouver, Edmonton and a few cities in Nova Scotia.

The day will consist of registration, a walk around the park(-hopefully lead by a bagpiper) then some games for dog and owners, a BBQ and prizes.

If you know of anyone who owns a Westie, please pass this info along to them! The Toronto Westie Walk is so much fun!

Prizes are awarded for ALL events. A special prize will be given to the person who collects the most pledges. Bring your Westies and your lawn chairs and come join us for a fun-filled, Westie-ful time!

The Toronto Westie Walk is coming up...just one week away and I wanted to remind anyone in the Toronto area...that if they have a Westie (or if you know of someone who does!) please let them know about the walk.

It is a fundraising event for Westie Rescue of Canada and 100% of the funds go to the dogs!
