I'm not trying to be a smart ass or anything but we can't see your dogs eye, so how could we know?

It could be a foreign object in her eye. It could be allergies. Probably could be many other things I can't think of right off the top of my head.

Take your dog to the vet so that someone with some training can look at your dogs eye and tell you what is wrong with it.

thankyou

i appreciate your reply. i will take the dog into the vet. i was wondering if it was allergies, wouldn't it be in both eyes? she only scratches one eye. visably, i can't see anything, but maybe a vet can see more. thanks again
