Good bye CeeCee

Today I gave you over to the Rainbow because I love you, and I know when you get there, you will be pain free, happy, fat and ornery once again. There will be no more pills, syringes, and white blanket burritos. We gave it our best...you were quite the trooper and I shall miss you little girl!

Thanks guys...yesterday was really rough. She had been sick since the end of May and the vet thinks cancer and/or organ shut down. We tried antibiotics..prednisone..nutri-cal..no response to any of it. When I got home from work yesterday, she was in the bath tub..gave a go at the gravy and ate a little bit of baby food from my finger..I think it was to make me feel better  But when she went to move I could tell a lot of pain had set in and she was just so thin. She never, never complained once. When I picked her up to take her in I got a claw in my shoulder..but I think it was her thinking she was going to be wrapped up in the blanket again. Once she got in my truck, she laid next to me and stayed quiet. When we got there, she laid on the table, like she was going to take a nap..she knew...and was ready. This morning I cleaned the fridge out, in it was 15 cans of opened can food with all the gravy poured off, 1 half can of milk replacer, electrolyte chicken flavored water, chicken livers and more, fresh tears all over again....I hate it!!

mom_to_many ,
my sincerest condolences to you. I know how hard it is to make that move and all I can say although we never ever forget our loved ones who move on time is a healer .

Fondly,
Lewis

 I am so sorry for your loss, mom to many. I feel your pain, as I am sitting at my computer at work in tears. Cee Cee is in no pain now, so please take comfort in that and keep the good times close to your heart. You will see her again.
Sincerely,
Mahealani
