Dog Businesses *a little ranty*

So I was shopping for an agility school mid may.. and had problems getting people to reply to my email questions. Lot of these websites have less than the bare minimum amount of info on them. If they were any other business where you could choose to patronize somewhere else, I think a lot of people would.. I spent days calling thee same schools. No answer, no machine..
I eventually online registered for a school, said they'd call me the next day.. 3 days later I call 6 times during the hours statred on the site, and then I get a person, who really doesn't seem ot care whether I register or not. Niiice.

I'm back to looking at schools, again. I felt we weren't getting enough out of the last one. I've left a message at one near a week ago, no reply. Called 2 today don't even get a machine.

And it's hard to compare dog schools.. There's no standard, so it could be all over the map what you are getting.. Lots of so badly designed web pages you wonder how many people actually chose their school.. And I'm tired of the attitude of how most don't really care if they get business because there are enough other people out there who would patronize them.

If this was any other business, they'd go broke.

I am so so so ticked. It shouldn't be a month long or more process to just get a few questions answered.

I can't imagine how frustrating this must be!

Personally, I would visit the school(s) unannounced and see if you get better results face-to-face... You will want to observe a class or 2 anyway before committing considering your luck with dog training schools!

If the school where you were at will work on ALL the obstacles in the next class, then I would stick with them and do the handling/sequencing on my own (until you can find a better school)...At least that way you and Cider will make the pre-requisite of being comfortable on all obstacles.

Too late for the old school now. They started on agility II this past monday. And I'm tired of listenign to how amazing herdign breeds are, and the snottiness of other owners that I brought a cocker to class..

This is maddening. I found a potentially good school, also with no info.. and I can't even leave a message..

If you're willing to drive to Barrie, I could recommend a really great school who really won't care what breed you bring to class.

Cute, very cute. That 2 hour drive each way would be awesome, lol.
This school in Brooklyn had office hours at 4-7pm.. At 4, the phone switched to voice mail. WTF. I'm about ready to give up, but I don't want to give up on Cider..

Called non stop for an hour.... Got through. Buisness is switching ownership June 28th, so they have no classes and have no idea what will happen then.

I give up. I'm never going to find a suitable non tooly school that is worth driving to, that isn't weird..

Renee called me back in the two hours I wasn't home today. Phone tag time..

So hard to decide to make more decent equipment for my backyard that I could take with me elsewhere like if I moved...

Or to say *beep* it.. and focus on fidning rentals for less until I can get better classes...
