The Closing of an Animal Shelter

Hello friends,
I have sad news today. An animal shelter near my old house in
Jonesboro, GA is closing down. I'm not sure why, probably a funding issue. It's all over the news and at 5:00pm today, they will be putting down all the animals who don't get adopted. My heart is breaking and I cannot stop the tears when I think about it. I wish I could go rescue all of them, but that's impossible. So please, keep these sweet angels in your prayers as I will.

Your heart must be breaking for sure. Maybe with all the news coverage alot of the dogs and cats will get homes. A few years ago, a shelter called Miaouf had a few cases of Lyptocerisios and the board of directors decided to close the shelter and kill all the animals. They would not allow one of the dogs or cats to be adopted out. It was a very sad time for all the staff and volunteers who worked there for years to see the animals put down.

I hope in your case there will be a different outcome.
