I have two cats and only the one has this problem. It has been going on for about a month. I can't explain the smell but to say that it comes from her anus, and it is really strong. I thought maybe it might be her anal sacks but she is not licking any more than usual or scooting.

Hmmmmmmm.Well the only thing I can suggest is to take her to a vet.She may have an infection of some sort.

Has there been a change of diet or litter?
Have you examined the stool to see if there is any blood/mucus / worms in it? Is the cat crying/losing weight?
