Fat mouse

i adopted a couple of female mice 3 months ago. they were both fit, and loved running on their wheel. recently one has started gaining weight, she is quite larger then the other. they eat the same food, get the same exercise, wat could that be? theyve never had contact with males. i feed them store bought mouse food, and give them treats of bread, fruits, meat and milk every few days.

Are you sure she isn't a rat? Tiny baby rats look a lot like mice.

I guess you're also sure they are all females....

You might want to cut out the milk and bread. They don't need it, and more veggies and seeds would be better for them.

lol im reasonably sure shes not a rat, shes just reallly fat :S

Are you sure that you have two females? One might be a male and you might have baby mice on the way.

I only really feed my rat veggies, fruit, and the occasional yogurt. Bread, and dairy make them fat, fat, fat.

yea she really is a female. lol. ive had mice since i was a kid, but none have ever been this big
