What is in the food?

What is in the Royal Canin urinary SO Formula cat food from the vets that keeps the ph level of the urine low to prevent crystals from forming?

My cat had a bacterial infection and crystals and now needs to be on this food forever. It is such a crappy food though that Im hoping to put him back on a high quality food and just add somethig to his diet separatly to prevent the crystals.

Anyone know????

Thanks
Sarah

Take a look at this site for herbal remedies or contact a holistic Veterinarian in your area for ideas

Hey thanks! I found 4 different products to help him on that site!! I never think to check out holistic vets or herbal remedies! I think it woud be healthier to have a high quality food and a supplement rather then crap food. Its only been about a month and I can already see huge difference in his fur Its not as soft and its really frizzy.

Thanks again!

Sarah
