I'm sorry

I think that sometimes all we need in this world is a little ability to forgive and a little appology....and of course laughter. Thinking of events going on in the world...and in the past, I think the world would benefit a lot from a few sorry's....so here it is...on behalf of Jews, Germans, Muslims, Christians,Hindus, Buddhist, Medieval warlords, Marie Antoinette, Bush, the annoying neighbour, commis, that cheating bf....(this list is going to take forever to write).....(few other names down the list).........Paul Martin, the English, the French, the Danes, pitbulls and under dogs who had a bad day, global warming....and anyone else you guys would like to include....

I AM SORRY!!!

there..........now get over it!!...feel better??....good

OK, while we're on the subject of apologies...

Let me apologize to all rescue/shelter workers on behalf of the person who posted in the "introductions" folder, looking for a home for her $1000 dogs. that this person thinks they're better than everyone else on this board, especially those of you who thought you'd help her place her two dogs together and instead of thanks, you got a heap of insults and threats of slander suits. Again, you have to put up with this.

Well the saga continues... I'm now receiving threats about her husband doing a background check on me and blablabla. Well since I never even got a speeding ticket, I guess there won't be much to say...

And all that for wanting to (voluntarily) help. What a nice day this has been

Inverness she is obviouslynot that smart b/c cops cannot check or do a background check just because. Police have been fired for using the system to check on exes, friends, enemies and alike. Its a big no no. And even if she did do a check what the heck would that do. Sorry thread got highjacked!

Lyrics for Song: I'm Sorry - Brenda Lee
Lyrics for Album: Classic Country: 1950-1964

I'm sorry, so sorry
That I was such a fool
I didn't know
Love could be so cruel
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Uh-oh
Oh, yes

You tell me mistakes
Are part of being young
But that don't right
The wrong that's been done

[Spoken:]
(I'm sorry) I'm sorry
(So sorry) So sorry
Please accept my apology
But love is blind
And I was to blind to see
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Uh-oh
Oh, yes

You tell me mistakes
Are part of being young
But that don't right
The wrong that's been done
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Uh-oh
Oh, yes

I'm sorry, so sorry
Please accept my apology
But love was blind
And I was too blind to see
(Sorry)

If you can find a plane ticket and room for that price Inverness, you'd better be sharing that info out to all of us! Seriously, there are always going to be a few bad apples, but doesn't it make you appreciate the great ones? I know it does for me

apparently all we missed was some flaming hag that wanted to start drama and create tension rather than work to find a reasonable solution to her issue. and while i admit i'm curious as to what happened, i worry i'd end up karmically screwed over the nasty feelings that would ensue :/

Basically she wanted to place two ****zu's. She had good intentions but took offence that rescue groups contacted her because all they want to do is make money. She threatened the fact that her husband is police officer and that they live in a nice house and want there dogs to live in a nice house also.

BTW I am being nice in explaining this.....

She is positive that rescue groups and shelters are in it for the money even jumping on Lucky for listing the dog on pet finder. Apprently you make money on there... amazing us real animal lovers never figured that out!

She swears up and down that she knows what rescues are all about (obviously not) and when explained to her that she was incorrect in her assumptions she continued to threaten some members that they would recieve a police background check (no police can do that just b/c there wifey asks them but anyways...) .
Oh yes and she has a 4000 sq. foot house. Not sure what that has to do it with. But she was basically saying her dogs are accustomed to the good life.

Basically she was a clueless self righteous snob who wouldn't know her foot from her..... ahhh choo.... Bless me.

That's hilarious! I don't know why some people feel that because their s/o is a police officer that all should genuflect when they're around. Sheesh.

Big deal on the 4000 sq foot house, I assume you lowly rescue people were duly impressed? LOL.

Some people.

Ps. I'm sorry.

I have a 4000sqft property, can I brag? Sure, my house is only 700sqft, but we'll stick with the big numbers.

I hate it when people throw their hubby/family/friend's job around as back up too.

"Oh ya, well my friend is a pencil pusher and if you don't watch out, he might just doodle something on a scrap paper and then recycle it!"

Or

"Oh ya, well my boyfriend is a land surveyor and if you don't watch it, he'll make your property smaller!" LOL

Thank's for explaining what it was all about,I missed it completely...
If she was trying to impress,it did not work, having a 4.000 sq house, would induce nightmares in me,imagine all the bathrooms to clean
Ours is a smallish 1.300sq(incl basement,2.600)way big enough to have to clean
I missed why she wanted to get rid of her dogs, but it's over and done with now

I believe these dogs belonged to "a friend" who was moving and couldn't take the world's most wonderful dogs with her. Could someone please tell me where these people all move to? You know, that one part of the country where there are absolutely no dogs allowed? Please tell me, so I can avoid it like the plague. I mean, really, is it that hard to find an appartment that allows two small dogs, especially when you run in circles with people who own 4000sq ft homes??

I agree, Iggette, Prin has a great sense of humour!

Gee, my "friend" (OK not really my friend anymore - long story) has moved around zillions of times with 2 JRTs and hasn't had any trouble finding places to live with them.

When I recently moved I had a very hard time trying to find a place to rent with my large family of furry friends.....Landlords don't want their homes wrecked by the animals for example:

-People who leave their dogs in a certain room....then dog scrathes at the door to be let out therefore ruining the wood

-Hardwood floors being ruined by long nails of dogs

-Carpeted homes that are ruined from animals repeatedly urinating on them by untrained or un housebroken pets these smells are hard to get rid of if not done right away

- Homes that are close to others that have a dog constantly barking causing unharmony amonst neighbours.

I understand that landlords want to rent to people with out the worry of these things happening to their home, but if they bothered to take the time to check out the pets themselves (ex: Home visit of their present residence to verify that no nasty smell exists and pets are infact house trained) they would find that us pet people are of the upmost best people to rent to.....lol or at least I say so

he he

We had a really hard time finding a new apartment with Jemma and Boo. Landlords who accepted dogs only accepted little ones. So we had to buy a house. Regardless of a house or not, our doggies would never have been left behind. NEVER.

We just went to pick up Kerry and Doolin and the other dog in there was found in an apartment. The previous tenant had left him there about a week prior. People really suck.

Amen to that! Sersiously how can you have a pet for any length of time and then just decided they are not worth taking with you???

This is beyond me. People wouldn't leave their kids tied up somewhere hoping they would "find a good home" so how can they do that to their pets?

that some people in our society view animals as disposable and treat them as such.

Yes, I was so impressed at spayed/neutered dogs being worth 1000$ (for what, I wonder??) Someone saw her coming for sure!

I won't be around much longer. I'm moving to Bermuda with all the millions I've made from rescuing and rehoming stray tabbies!!

I missed this entirely. There was a thread about someone who was moving with her two shih tzus and couldn't tek them but then someone posted that she WAS taking them after all?? Is that the one? It doesn't matter really. It all sounds horrible.

But what is it with people who think that animals are like furnishings and if they don't go in the new house they should just put them out with the rest of the stuff at a garage sale?

I saw a homeless couple on the streets of Philadelphia one very cold night and they had two dogs with them. They could have gone to temporary housing to get out of the cold but the dogs would have been taken from them. They chose to stay on the street until they could find something rather than be parted from their animals. I've always regretted not taking those dogs home with me until they could come get them.

I don't even know what the square footage is on my home. Not that it's that big. I just don't know that numbers impress anyway. I've seen small gorgeous homes and big atrocities. But just to let you all know---my husband is a pension plan consultant. THAT'S RIGHT !!!! So just be careful what you say to me or I'll have him ...I'll have him.... well he might have to come on here and tell everyone how little money we have and how much less we'll all have when we retire. So just watch your steps.

We refused to do anything except bring Jesse with us for our move. I wouldn't have dreamnt of anything different. She is our baby and she will be with us. I wouldn't even give the houses we were looking at a second glance if they wouldn't allow Jesse. I didn't care how long it took, but we would not be living anywhere unless she was with us!!!

And as for Jim, he is a computer guy and a magician so first he'll break into your computer and dowload porn, then he'll disappear!!!
