Hi! Newbie here!
Hi! My name is Dana. I have a 5 month old boxer boy named Rocky. I love learning all I can about him (and pets in general) so I excited to be here.
Last night Rocky started to weeze and then gagging like he was going to throw up. He had been sleeping for a while before he started doing this. I have him some water and treats (because it seemed like something was stuck in his throat). Then he played for a while (like normal) and went back to sleep. Well, he woke up again at 4 AM doing the same thing. He's been fine for the past 5 hours but I don't know what brought this on. He was in puppy training class and finished up last week. He is up to date on all his shots. A lady work said it could be puppy asthma. Has anybody had this sort of thing happen to their dog? It doesn't seem to be bothering him (other that when he is gagging). He has drinken plenty of water, eaten his food, and played with his toys. I haven't changed his food or anything else that I can think of. Any advise would help, I want my baby boy to stay as healthy as possible. Thanks!
