Nautures Miracle!! Available at pretty much all pet stores.

If this is an ongoing thing, I'd try something to stop the spraying, though - is there an unneutered cat involved?

thanks for the reply.. yes there is an unneutered pet..... I am actually looking for a home for him I took him off my friends hands because she just had a baby and can't give him the attention that he needs. He was only in my home a few hours and he had the house destroyed with his spraying I don't think I am doing anything wrong but he won't stop

Before you rehome this cat, please get him neutered! He will continue to spray in your home until you do.

Ask your friend to pay for his neuter, as it was very irresponsible of her not to do so and then dump him on you. Many many people have cats and babies at the same time.

Well actually I am going to get him neutered but it's coming out of my own pocket She doesn't have the money and I don't want him to be tossed around because of the lack of money from her... She has promised to pay me back but> we will see.... Thank you so much for the product advice it actually worked! I am so happy with it although I wish I would have known before I took the advice of using vinigar on everything You know I called my local vet and he told me that I would only have to use laundry soap boy was he wrong! Anyway thank you again so so much!

Cool, I'm glad it worked! It's great stuff.

If you have a local Humane Society, they often have very low cost spay/neuter clinics, and most cities have low cost/publicly funded veterinary clinics. You can call the HS and ask.

When I lived in Denver, there was a large clinic that would spay/neuter feral cats, and give them shots, for $22.00. A neighor and I trapped eleven ferals because there was a large population - my house was brick and the cat spray just soaked in and really smelled! Plus it was just the right thing to do. Anyhow, maybe you can find a real good deal. In any case, call around because there's a big variability in how much vets charge. Neutering is a fairly routine procedure.

And I agree, your friend should pay! At least for the Nature's Miracle.

spray

Well yup will keep spraying if unneutered.

The smell may be reduced with a mixture in a spray bottle of the following:

-lemon juice
-vinegar and
-baking soda
-small amt of water

you want the mix to be strong
it will fuzz at first but when it settles it will work pretty good

strong odour good luck

Luba
