So much great advice/info appreciated

Man, this site is so educational. I just read in one of the threads that beet puree and tomato pomace are no good. These are not things that I would have ever looked for in the ingredients of our cat's food. Needless to say, when I read that I immediately checked the ingredients of our food and sure enough they were both listed!! We thought we were giving our cats some really good stuff (Nature's Harvest), the girl in the pet food store was raving about it. (Which I also found out happens to be the store's brand of natural food, no wonder she was raving). Anyways, we are going to switch them to California Natural, which seems to be mentioned in many threads as being a quality food. I just wanted to express my appreciation for all the good advice and information that is dispensed on this site, I am definitely becoming a well informed pet owner.
