Police officer attacked by five Chihuahuas
Printed in today's Modesto Bee:

FREMONT _ A pack of angry Chihuahuas attacked a police officer who was escorting a teenager home after a traffic stop, authorities said. The officer suffered minor injuries, including bites to his ankle, Detective Bill Veteran said. The five Chihuahuas escaped the 17-year-old boy's home and rushed the officer in the doorway Thursday, authorities said. The teenager had been detained after the traffic incident. The officer was treated at a hospital and returned to work less than two hours later.

LOL, I bet he is going to be stuck in a desk job for the rest of his career. Poor man, he will never be able to wear sandals and shorts again. Afraid of all the stares at his horrific scars.

We had a chihuahua when I was little. Taffy hated men. Probably because the day we visited the breeder my brother picked her up and then dropped her. LOL !! Let's just blame him. I don't think she ever bit anyone but she tried. Mostly my brothers one friend, Freddie, who was a really sweet guy. But he was afraid of her and she could sense it, so she could often be found hanging from Freddies pant leg.

My son is getting a degree in criminal justice. I'm going to add this to the list of dangers on the job. I don't think he has considered the hazard of chihuahua's.

Thats a hoot! Hey, I wonder if "Cujo" would have been as scary if they had used a Chihuahua instead of a St. Bernard?

I've never seen Cujo but the whole idea of a St. Bernard being scary is a riot !! They're about a scary as an overstuffed arm chair. A chihuahua is only scary when it's talking, or accompanied by Paris Hilton !

I just saw that article and died laughing, can you even IMAGINE the amount of teasing he's going to get after going back to work?? Worker's Comp?? Oh man, fit of the giggles all over again!

Isn't that a hoot? Can you picture this guy's face as a pack of savage Chis descended on him??

We need Ankle Biter Legislation that would affect all dogs under 10 inches high!! Just remember - YOU could be next!!
