I live in Michigan, where we currently have about 6 inches of snow on the ground. I've recently spotted a family of 4 kittens and 2 cats (who i assume are wild by their personality) outside. I've put warm water and food outside of my window for them everyday, so i can watch them. I think they are living under my neighbors deck. I want to capture them and take them to the vet, for I am concerned about their life span. What is the best way to do this without scaring them?
Thanks!

Can you get traps from a rescue group in your area? Or get them to trap them for you? I befriended ferrel cats before and it took me almost 6 months before the tom got close enought for me to touch, but I lived in a milder climate at the time and temperature was not a factor. I am assuming the temperature is dropping and they will get cold. I wish you luck. By the way there are members on this board that may be able to give you better advice so come back to your question often.
