Unhappy RIP Pal the Rat

I had a pet rat named pal. this may not be important to any of you but this is a virtual cemetery so please feel for this little frend. He was a good rat and i know it sounds strange to have a pet rat but he's not from the sewer but from a pet store and very clean and cute. This infomation isnt personal so i am willing to share it

My parents got a divorce 3 months ago and i was dealing with it. No one to talk to, isolated, and alone. My best frend was a long-tailed, pink-mosed rat named Pal. He always listened and never contradicted me. The night he died i was not there. He was with my mother when he died and i wish i was there to be with him. This was June 3, 2005 at 9:00 PM. This happend a long time ago but i continue to grieve.

Pal was a prayer and angel . The magical and upside to his death was that the day after he died, my parents decided not to go threw with the divorce! Amazing what a little critter can do. My mother siad the night he died, Pal came to her and told her, well actually he squeeked it but my mother somehow understood what he was saying. He told her she knew that she loved but father and that Jesus but them together for a reason. Even more amazing was that my father said he had the EXCAT same dream . The funny thing is that my father never dreamed about Pal beacause he wasnt very fond of him but when he was around life was easier for all of us.

Pal is my guardian and saved me emotional termoil. Anmd i am icredibly grateful to him forever. He will always be with me in my heart  . I will post pics of him if you want, or e-mail for them.

Ok im done, my grieving isnt as bad now thanx for listening.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss
I have never had rats, but three of my cousins did, and they were exquisite creatures!
Pets of all kind provide outstanding therapy, and it is very difficult when they leave.
It is so nice to hear of the chnage that he brought to your family though! What an outstanding animal!

I am very Sorry about pal. No matter what kind of pet you have you can become so bonded. The pain of the loss will get better, but it takes a while. I am glad you found this place to post about Pal if it makes it easier. It is never easy to lose one of your best friends. I am sure Pal is watching over you, and smiling knowing that everything is working out with your family.

RIP Pal

I just hope you don't adopt a cat and then find out it's too much to handle... Maybe try a few test weekends before committing?

You know that "hurting it" includes having to rehome it again?
