When do you decide to take your pet to the vet to check for a Urinary tract infection?

Odin had 2 accidents in the house today. One was after his bath (which he almost always does, no matter how fast we get him out for a pee break after) but the second was unusual. He usually pees in front of us to let us know he has to go, but today he peed on the carpet in the living room when we were out of the room.

I think it's more frequent than that. The dogs I know that have had it have to go out as soon as you bring them in. Maybe today he just drank too much.
