It was actually pretty good. The ads make it look dumber than it really is (I guess to get the men to agree to see it...).

I haven't seen the new version of Fever Pitch, but it's too bad you guys across the pond got the watered down version - the original Fever Pitch was a novel by Nick Hornby about Arsenal, only the best football (soccer) team ever! And the movie with Colin Firth was also very good and almost exactly true to the book - I cannot imagine it being about baseball at all!

Try and rent it, it's really worthwile to see the original...
